Loki confirms vampires are in the MCU – and helps set up Blade - guevaraglinte

How one Loki line helps set up a future Marvel movie

Everything in Marvel is coupled. Always has been, always will glucinium. Crossovers and C. W. Post-credit teases for future movies are often bazaar game, but we still didn't expect a consultation to one of the more 'out at that place' aspects of the MCU to crop up in Loki episode 4. It's the first probationary step, too, in helping lot up one of Marvel's far-flung projects – then well worth zeroing in on just in case you missed it first fourth dimension 'attack.

Humble spoilers for Loki follow. You let been warned!

Bemoaning the slick nature of Sylvie during a conversation with Hunter B-15 (Wunmi Mosaku), Owen President Wilson's Mobius recalls other foregone captives at the TVA that haven't caused just about half the amount of cark as the Loki Variant.

"We brought in Kree, Titans, vampires. Why is it the deuce orphan demigods are such a annoyance?"

The Kree we know: the warrior race that terrorized Skrulls in Captain Marvel and can count Ronan the Accuser among its members are a fearsome bunch. Titans, of course, have golf links to Thanos. Vampires, meanwhile, are completely inconsistent with what we have seen sol far.

What that does do, however, is set in the lead Marvel's well-nig conspicuous lamia hunter, Blade. If clock time travel, Variants, and alligator Lokis can all co-exist in the Sami testify, information technology's now no more a leap to indicate vampires can inhabit the same macrocos as, say, Spider-Man or Scarlet Witch.

It's not just an Easterly egg that'll be left over hanging in oblivion either. Blade is organism rebooted for the MCU with Mahershala Ali stepping into the hackneyed boots of the half-human, half-lamia loanblend once played by Wesley Snipes.

If goose egg else, Marvel planting the seed now at least means Blade's undead edges are unlikely to represent dulled in the MCU and could flatbottomed atomic number 4 a return to the form of Wesley Snipes' quintessential bloody trilogy.

But, for now, back to Loki. Just in case you missed it, there's a post-credits scene that opens up the show's final act in a big way. The Loki episode 4 ending has not only provided serious revelations, but level some major new characters – whose identities have now been revealed.
